BKLL Spring 2020 Season Update

Dear BKLL Members,

Over the past few days, there have been many reports regarding the effects of the Coronavirus across the United States and the world. As information continues to become available, precautions are being implemented to protect all citizens across the country.

Earlier this evening, I received notification from Little League International STRONGLY recommending temporary suspension of all league activities until no earlier than April 6. I later received an email from our District Administrator to suspend all league activity until further notice. With that said, BLACKWOOD KIWANIS LITTLE LEAGUE WILL SUSPEND ALL LEAGUE ACTIVITIES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

As President of BKLL, my greatest responsibility is the safety and welfare of our children, coaches, and families. We are in unchartered territory with the outbreak of COVID-19. In the upcoming days, I’m sure we will all learn more information and will be provided guidance. Until then, our league will be in compliance with Little League’s recommendations.

Once I receive more information regarding a date to resume league activities or any updates, I will be sure to pass them along. Until then, I urge you practice individually and as a family.
